This was my first visit to the Iron Furnace. My sister, Sasha, and I had just set up the composition when the International Space Station came soaring overhead—straight through my frame. Serendipity! I later captured an image of the furnace I find more appealing, but the juxtaposition between the old technology of a smelting furnace and the new, flying through space can’t be ignored.

All prints come with a protective coating and a 2mm styrene black backing at no additional cost.
