I had been planning this shot for about three months and what I captured was almost identical to what I saw in my mind. Flood waters from the swollen Ohio River had just receded a few days prior and the milky way was in prime position. I had a 45-minute window to catch the center of the milky way inside the mouth of the cave.  The orange glow you see is light pollution from Marion Kentucky.

All prints come with a protective coating and a 2mm styrene black backing at no additional cost.
